As a prey animal, fear is a successful survival strategy. A horse with no fear is a dangerous animal both to himself and you. And, too much fear can be equally dangerous for the horse and you. Your horse’s flight instinct is absolutely normal. Helping him stay within reasonable limits is a good idea. The following equine acupressure session can help when your horse tends to give into his fears more than not or has less fear than seems healthy.
